What more could we have done?

Part performance-part installation – part concert, Cepheus brings to gloriously vivid life the student uprisings against the hated Austro-Hungarian monarchy in 1912 Zagreb.

A highly compelling and contemporary story – of passion, idealism and the fight for independence – unfolds through words, movement and DB Indos’ trademark invented instruments/ installations; the latter fashioned from industrial materials and everyday objects.

Inextricably drawing audience members into the revolutionaries’ stories, you really feel as if you’re in that prison cell, that courtroom, that conspiratorial late night gathering, asking yourself and those around you ‘what more can we do?’

Utterly absorbing, Cepheus is provocative, relevant, important – European theatre at its absolute best.
