Tick, tick …BOOM – a night with Merseyside Young Professionals!

Had a fantastic evening hosting the Merseyside young professionals group (@merseysideyoungprof) at Unity Theatre . Co-organised by our board member Chris Hulme (@PRChrisUk) our guests joined us for pre-show drinks and a performance of tick tick boom by lipa students.

Formed in 1999, Merseyside Young Professionals (“MYP”) is a networking organisation run by, and for, up and coming professionals and business people across Merseyside.

It was great to welcome so many of the groups members to the Unity, many of whom were visiting us for the first time. But it was also a real reminder of how creative this city really is…. I’m pretty sure that most of our guests had more theatrical anecdotes than I have!

And having spoken about new talent it felt perfectly natural to move downstairs from Unity 2 to Unity 1 to catch a LIPA student group perform Jonathan Larson’s chamber musical Tick, tick….boom.

Naturally the evening ended with networking….in the bar.
